How Feline & Fur Began
We are Helan and Kate. We are life-long animal lovers who believe every pet deserves comfort, play, and kindness—especially when you can’t be there.
We have looked after each other’s cats throughout our 20+ year friendship, alongside pet sitting for friends and family.
We are at a point in our careers where we are able to branch out into this new venture and provide the same loving care to your pets as we have to our own.
Kate lives in Kiveton Park, Rotherham, and has enjoyed the company of cats throughout her life. She will be able to provide cat sitting services immediately.
Helan lives in Elsecar, Barnsley and also has enjoyed having pet dogs and cats as part of her family throughout her life. Helan will be available for bookings from November 2026 onwards.
We provide pet sitting services for all small animals including cats and small dogs with the option of house sitting services if needed, and would be happy to discuss your specific needs. Please find our contact details in the Contact Us menu.
Testimonials
Our cat was so much happier staying at home as opposed to the cattery. Helan was so professional and friendly. Otis was definitely delighted with the love, care and attention she provided him with
Tilly is an introverted girl and having someone coming into her home and staying over was very helpful for her and myself as I was concerned how she would be in a cattery. No need to worry at all!
We have used Kate on many occasions to look after our cat Daisy. Excellent service and would highly recommend
